Children Mandarin Class (Ages 4-9)
The class is taught by native Mandarin speakers in small groups. Its aims are: to enhance the students’ Listening, Oral and Conservation skills; to teach vocabulary; and to enable students to converse in everyday life. Students’ motivation and interest in learning Mandarin (Putonghua) is built through activities such as story-telling, singing, games and conversations, which are based on every day, familiar topics and situations. The students will be engaged in learning vocabularies, sentences, reading, conversation and poetry reading in order to improve their Mandarin (Putonghua) progressively.
*80% attendance is required for completion of the class. Students will be awarded a Children Mandarin Class Certificate upon completion.

*For those 3 to 6 years old students who have completed the course, if their ability are evaluated and approved by the Mandarin Speaking teacher, the students will be recommended to participate in the KPCC Examination.
